All Public University Admission Circular-2020-21

Public University Admission: All government universities are called public universities.  University circulars are published every year after the publication of HSC results. Due to Covid-19, there has been a lot of complications with the pubic university admission test 2021. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has urged the universities to conduct admission tests in batches instead of conducting separate admission tests. All Public University Admission circular-2021

All University Honours Admission depend on the basis of HSC result. But this year all public university admission tests, general public university admission test, except-Dhaka university admission test, Jahangirnagar university admission test, Rajshahi university admission test, Chittagong university admission test, Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET) admission test,  all public science and technology admission test, all public agricultural university admission test,  for the academic year 2020-2021 will be held under a cluster system. The UGC Chairman Prof Dr Kazi Shahidullah said that about 34 universities will take part in this cluster system admission test.

 

Public University admission test 2020-21

The questions for the admission tests will be prepared based on the syllabuses of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman said the central admission tests committee will fix the cluster system and there will be a minimum score for the students to get enrolled. So, All public University Admission test date published. Applicant should keep eyes in this article for getting updated information about all public university admission circular 2021.

 

The medical college admission test is already taken in a clustering process from previous. Last year, in the academic session 2020, 6 agricultural universities took the admission test in a clustering process and this year will also take the admission test in the same manner. In the current academic year 2020-2021, 20 more general public universities and universities of science and technology will take the admission tests in the cluster system.

(Major 5) Public University Admission Circular 2021

The top 5 universities did not agree to take the admission tests in the Clustering Process. These universities will take admission tests according to their own procedure like the previous admission test.

The meritorious students of Bangladesh prefer Dhaka University, Jahangir Nagar University, Chittagong University, and Rajshahi University when they are admitted to public universities. On the other hand, engineering is the most preferred BUET at the time of admission. 

Students who want to study medical do medical admission coaching, those who want to study engineering do engineering admission coaching, and those who want to get admission to a general public university do public university admission coaching. However, the 5 major universities are determined in taking admission test in their own way as before;

Public University Admission Circular 2020-21 (Cluster System)

All Public University Admission test 2021: The admission test for all public universities will not be the same this year. Maximum universities out of 46, 29 universities will take the admission tests in cluster system and some universities in a single system. Therefore, this year public university admission test will be taken in 3 cluster system. Those are: 

All Agriculture Universities

General & Science & Technology Universities

Engineering & Technology Universities.

A. All Agricultural Universities Cluster Admission 2021:

There will be a cluster (গুচ্ছ) admission test with all public agricultural universities. The cluster admission test system for all agricultural universities started in the year 2020. Admission test for 2020-2021 will also be held like last year. The 6 agricultural universities will take an admission test in a clustering process, they are-

B. General & Science and Technology University Admission ( 20 University 1 Cluster system admission )

Every year the all public universities conducted separate admission tests. But in order to prevent harassment of students, some general public universities and some science and technology universities have decided to take cluster admission test this year. Public University Exam System

Jagannath University VC Professor Mijanur Rahman told a national daily that, the exams would be out of 100 marks Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam to get into the universities of their choices and each of universities would be allowed to set their won minimum test score requirement for admission.  The meeting decided that the three exams would be held in three days once the coronavirus situation gets normal There would be exam centers in very university and students would be allowed to pick the centre of their choice.

Cluster Admission Marks Distribution System

Humanities Group:

Ju VC Said the humanities group exam would consist of 40 marks in Bangla, 35 in English and 25 in ICT.

Commerce Group:

Students, the distribution of marks would be 25 in accounting, 25 in management, 25 in language (13 in Bangla and 12 in English) and 25 in ICT.

Science Group:

The Science group exam would have the following marks distribution: 20 in language (10 each in Bangla and English), 20 each in physics and chemistry and rest of marks in two topics among ICT, Mathematics and Biology.

 

All Public University admission eligibility in cluster system

Barisal University Vice-chancellor professor Sadequl Arefin told the daily news:

Science: Student who wishes to apply from science for the centralized admission tests would need a minimum combined SSC-HSC or equivalent exam GPA of 7.00

Business: Students will need a combined GPA of 6.5 and

Humanities: Students will need 6.00

He added that students who achieved a GPA less than 3 at any exam will not be eligible for the admission tests.

In the admission process of the 1st-year undergraduate (honours) admission in the academic year 2020-2021, the candidates will be allotted subjects by preparing a separate merit list for each college only on the basis of SSC and HSC examination results.
